VQ-66

Verquare VQ-66 is the water-based protective lacquer used as the sealing primer for concrete floor. This product is especially designed for solving the problems generated from Resin Mortar floor, Epoxy floor, PU floor, and the primer on the exposed walls. Generally speaking, if the floor is in the environment with high humidity or the percentage of the moisture content of the floor itself is over 10%, it will usually cause the abnormal quality issues of the floor. Besides, due to the high alkalinity (~PH=12) of the concrete itself, it’s very easy to damage and corrode the resin-based floor, which might reduce the lifetime of the substrate. The most efficient way to solve the problem so far is to apply the primer with sealing effect on the floor. VQ-66 has superior resistance to moisture and high alkalinity, which is the best solution to be adopted as the primer application on the floor.
VQ-66 is 100% water-based and eco-friendly product with the excellent features of waterproof and chemical resistance; meanwhile, it doesn’t contain any formaldehyde, formalin, and the elements of the eight heavy metals inside. It can react with the compounds on the surface of the substrate such as concrete, metal, wood, and ceramic and then generates the strong chemical cross-linking adhesion to form a layer which can protect the substrate efficiently.
According to the testing result of the experiment, even dip the substrate coated with VQ-66 in the alkaline solvent with 40% of NaOH, it still can be preserved more than 3 months, and what’s more, there’s no any damage on the surface of the substrate coated with VQ-66; besides, the storage time can last over 3 months while dipping the substrate coated with VQ-66 in the acid solvent with 20% of H2SO4.

Construction times:
It is suggested to apply VQ-66 twice on the surface of the substrate; wait about 2-3 hours to apply the second layer after applying the previous one.

Drying time:
About 1 hour to get finger dry after applying VQ-66 on the substrate; about 4-8 hours to get consolidated after applying VQ-66 on the substrate.

Attention:

a. Don’t mix VQ-66 with other organic solvent or impure water

b. Clean up all the grease, dirt, and mud on the surface of the substrate before applying VQ-66 on it.

c. Avoid the construction on rainy days, the days of which the atmospheric humidity is over 85% PH, and the days of which the temperature is below 10°C.
